Kinetic has been updated to include a number of new features, many of which were recommended by current users of this news and magazine template framework for Serendipity. The new features provide greater power, configuration flexibility, and site accessibility.
Major new features in version 1.1 include:
- Option to change the order of front page content boxes
- Option to change the order of the sidebars
- Option to customize front page content box titles and tab titles
- Option to enable or disable individual skiplinks
- Skiplinks are localized and language specific (currently English and German)
- Modified front page providing regular blog format when no category has been specified
- Plus many additional fixes and improvements...
Many thanks to the current users of Kinetic for their suggestions and bug discoveries. A special thanks goes to
Robert Lender who, in addition to being a Serendipity Evangelist, has now earned himself the title of "Kinetic Evangelist".
I have several more concepts that will slowly find their way into Kinetic, and I encourage additional suggestions from the ever increasing user base.
For more information on Kinetic, check out the
original blog post,
support forum and
demo. The demo includes additional links to
purchase details,
premium colorsets, and an
affiliate program which earns you a commission if you promote Kinetic via your own website.
