Configuration: Options for navigation bars.

This tutorial will discuss the Options for navigation bars for Kinetic. As with all template options, enter the serendipity admin panel and select "Manage Styles" in the left sidebar. Options are numbered below for tutorial clarity, but are not actually numbered in the Theme/Style options page.

Kinetic provides three different navigation bars - two at the top, and one at the bottom of each page. Each navigation item is configured separately.

1a) Position of the first navbar. Default: Above Banner [select]

    none: First navigation bar will not be displayed.
    Above Banner: First navigation bar will be displayed above the banner (default).
    Below second navbar: First navigation bar will be displayed below the second navigation bar.

1b) Enter number of links in the First navbar. [input]
Enter quantity of links for the first navigation bar.

2a) Enable second navbar below banner. [Yes/No]
Enable or disable second navigation bar. Second navigation bar, if enabled, always appears below the banner and does not have position options like the first navigation bar.

2b) Enter number of links in the Second navbar. [input]
Enter quantity of links for the second navigation bar.

3a) Enable footer navbar. Note: Footer navbar items cannot have subnavigation. Default: yes. [Yes/No]
Enable or disable footer navigation bar. Footer navigation bar does not have position options like the first navigation bar, and cannot have subnavigation links.

3b) Enter number of links in the Footer navbar. [input]
Enter quantity of links for the footer navigation bar.

4) Show administration login link in footer. Login link will be appended to footer credit line. Default: yes. [Yes/No]
If enabled, a link to the Serendipity administration/backend will be displayed.

5) Quicksearch position. [select]
Choose location for quicksearch. Quicksearch sidebar item will be suppressed automagically if positioned within header or navbar. Quicksearch will not show in header if IAB Full Banner is enabled. Default: Second Navbar.

    none: Quicksearch will not be displayed.
    First Navbar: Quicksearch will be shown in first navbar.
    Inside Banner: Quicksearch will be shown inside of banner.
    Second Navbar: Quicksearch will be shown in the second navigation bar.
