This tutorial will discuss the RSS Feed Options for Kinetic. RSS Feed options include RSS Feed (entries), RSS comments (just comments), Mobile Alerts (entry notification via cell phone text message) and Email alerts (entry notification via email). As with all template options, enter the serendipity admin panel and select "Manage Styles" in the left sidebar. Options are numbered below for tutorial clarity, but are not actually numbered in the Theme/Style options page.

1) Position of RSS feed links and icons. [select]

    None: RSS Feed links will not be displayed.
    Inside Banner: RSS Feed Links will be displayed in the banner. (Screenshot coming soon)
    Inside Footer: RSS Feed Links will be displayed in the footer.(Screenshot coming soon)

2a) Show RSS Feed link and icon. [yes/no]
Show link to RSS Feed (entries). If enabled, icon and text link to RSS feed will be displayed in the position selected.

2b) Full URL path to RSS feed. [input]
Provide URL to RSS feed. If blank, Serendipity rss2 feed will be used. Feedburner is an excellent choice for RSS feeds.

3a) Show RSS Comments link and icon [yes/no]
Show link to RSS Comments feed. If enabled, icon and text link to RSS Comments feed will be displayed in the position selected.

3b) Full URL path to RSS Comments feed. [input]
Provide URL to RSS Comments feed. If blank, Serendipity rss2 comments feed will be used. Feedburner is an excellent choice for RSS Comment feeds.

4a) Show Mobile Alert link and icon. [yes/no]
Show link to Mobile RSS Feed. If enabled, icon and text link to Mobile Alerts feed will be displayed in the position selected.

4b) Full URL path to Mobile feed. [input]
Provide URL to Mobile alert feed. If this input field is blank, link will not display even if "yes" selected above. Feedm8 is an excellent choice for Mobile alert feeds.

5a) Show Email Alert link and icon. [yes/no]
Show link to Email Updates feed. If enabled, icon and text link to Email Alerts feed will be displayed in the position selected.

5b) Full URL path to Email feed. [input]
Provide URL to Email updates feed. If this input field is blank, link will not display even if "yes" selected above. Feedburner is an excellent choice for Email subscription feeds.
