Kinetic version 1.2 released

The Serendipity template Kinetic has been upgraded to version 1.2.

This new version of Kinetic offers even greater power and flexibility to your Serendipity powered magazine, or newspaper styled website, in addition to the extensive featureset bundled into the original Kinetic release as well as the previous upgrade, Kinetic ver 1.1.

Major new features and fixes include:

Incorporated jQuery Nivo Slider v2.3 as a featured content gallery. All colorsets modified for slider.
nivo-slider.css modified slightly from distributed version.
Modified styles to accomodate freetag "related entries" output which is now an unordered list.
Added z-index:100 to subnavigation to avoid images rendering over subnav items.
Created function setting sql filter to prevent duplicates. Changes introduced in 1.1 were allowing duplicates due to the use of included smarty templates allowing content box ordering.
Added new 468 x 60 IAB Full Banner ad above left side content.
Incorporated new AddThis API 2.0.
Added template option for Twitter feed. This option increases right side of banner from 480px to 510px and equally reduces left side of banner from 510px to 480px.
Removed strip tag function from trackback avatars.
Added smarty tag for trackback and comment avatars.

The most notable few feature is the featured content jQuery slider, a very cool content slider from dev7studios. Be sure to visit the Kinetic Demo to see the featured content gallery, and all other features of Kinetic.
